The Open Door
You’ve passed the same storefront every night for years. The windows are papered over, and the door is always locked.
Except tonight.
The door is slightly ajar. Somewhere in the back, a light is on.
You stop.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
You step inside and follow the light toward the back.
There's a small table.
On it are a wallet, a set of keys, and a half-finished cup of coffee.
Then you notice the chair lying on its side.
From somewhere behind you, a voice says:
“Close the door.”
You grab the handle and pull the door shut.
It closes with a heavy click.
You try the door again. It’s locked.
That's when you see the words scratched into the glass on the other side.
HELP ME.
