The building at the end of Mercer Street has been empty for eleven years.
Every night this week, at exactly 1:47 A.M., a light has appeared in the same third-floor window.
No one goes in. No one comes out.
Tonight, you stop across the street to watch.
A silhouette appears behind the curtain.
It raises one hand.
And points directly at you.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
You don't move.
The figure keeps pointing.
Then you realize it isn't pointing at you.
It's pointing at something behind you.
You turn.
There's nobody there.
When you look back at the window, the light is out.
You turn and head for the corner.
Halfway there, you look back.
The light is gone.
The front door of the building is standing open.
